    DEVOTA: Journal of Community Service is a multidisciplinary scholarly journal that publishes articles on community service activities. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating conceptual ideas, best practices, and the results of community service programs conducted by lecturers, researchers, and practitioners.

    DEVOTA focuses on community service activities that emphasize the application of science, technology, education, and social innovation in addressing real problems within society. The journal aims to promote sustainable community empowerment, strengthen community capacity, and facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology that generates tangible and measurable social impact.

    The scope of articles accepted in DEVOTA covers community service activities oriented toward the humanities and social sciences, including community empowerment based on culture and local wisdom, community service in the fields of education, literacy, and language, social and religious community services, the strengthening of social and civic values, community-based creative economy development, and the enhancement of social institutional capacity.

    All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to ensure compliance with the journal’s focus and guidelines. Manuscripts deemed inconsistent with the journal’s scope or academic standards will be rejected without external review. Eligible manuscripts are processed through a peer-review mechanism to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with the recommendations of reviewers and editors prior to acceptance.

    DEVOTA is published biannually, with issues released in April and October. Each issue publishes five (5) peer-reviewed articles on community service. The journal accepts manuscripts written in Indonesian and/or English. Through rigorous editorial and review processes, DEVOTA is committed to becoming a credible scholarly publication in the development and practice of community service.

  • SOCILIB: Journal of Social and Library Sciences

    SOCILIB: Journal of Social and Library Sciences is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published biannually (July and December) by CV. Tritama Suka Makmur, in affiliation with Asosiasi Penyelenggara Pendidikan Tinggi Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi (APTIPI) and STAI Ar Risalah Sumatera Barat. The journal is currently in the process of obtaining its electronic ISSN (E-ISSN).

    The journal provides a scholarly platform for the publication of research-based and practice-oriented studies in the fields of:

    • Library and Information Sciences

    • Social Sciences (social science disciplines related to library studies)

    The mission of SOCILIB is to contribute to the advancement of an informed and educated society by publishing high-quality scholarly works in the fields of library science and social sciences. SOCILIB seeks to support the development of knowledge, critical thinking, and professional practice in libraries and information institutions, particularly within social contexts relevant to societal development.

    The journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, literature reviews, and practice-based studies authored by academics, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students whose work is grounded in library science and the social sciences.

    SOCILIB applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and scholarly value of all published articles. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals.

    The journal accepts manuscripts written in Bahasa Indonesia and English and aims to serve as a credible academic forum for the development of library science and social science-based library studies, particularly in the context of research and professional practice.
